Could you be our next Learning and Development Consultant NSW?

As the Consultant, Learning & Development NSW, you’ll play a hands on role in delivering and coordinating high‑quality learning experiences across the region. From facilitating instructor‑led training and supporting leadership programs, to managing learning logistics, stakeholder enquiries and regional communications, this role is central to ensuring learning is practical, well‑executed and embedded in day‑to‑day operations. You’ll work closely with restaurant teams, market leaders and support functions to bring learning initiatives to life and support consistent capability uplift at scale.

What you can expect on a day-to-day basis:

  • Facilitating high-quality instructor-led classes for Crew, Crew Coaches, and managers. Mark attendance, set up and pack down classrooms for all classes, organise printing where required
  • Managing all learning enquiries from licensee and McOpCo employees, and act as the conduit to Scaled Services
  • Coordinating all required logistics for graduation classes (where applicable)
  • Writing Digital Owner Operator Review (DOOR) and 6 monthly comments
  • Co-ordinating host restaurants for Store Day including sending reminder emails and planning classes for the year
  • Training Cadet program including training plans, teach backs, feedback for each instructor and graduation prep
  • Marking MDP1 Workbooks on myLearning and verifying completion of RLF pre-work prior to LGR (with the support of Scaled Services)
  • Conducting peer evaluations – teach backs prior to facilitations to ensure best practice training
  • Continue upkeep of facilities such as safety inspections, stock rotation and inventory, including classroom supplies
  • Leading Workplace communications on regional pages including project support, recognising individuals and drafting Monday Sauce articles
  • Supporting the implementation of all learning and development initiatives across the region, ensuring high levels of engagement and collaboration with market leaders, including licensees and field team
  • Supporting with curriculum updates to ensure curriculum reflects current business practices and priorities
  • Monitoring shared inbox and responding to email queries with the support of Scaled Services
  • Completing assigned secondary duties to support the running of the ANZ learning and development team

Your keys to success:

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong facilitation and presentation skills
  • Adept with a variety of multimedia training platforms and methods
  • McDonald’s Restaurant Management experience preferred
